Holiday Decor
Everyone looks forward to decorating the tree, but what about the rest of the house. Here are some ideas for this holiday season...
You can't go wrong with the traditional garland...
Miniature trees or even just some potted moss adds a festive feeling to the mantel.
You don't always have to use live (or fake) foliage, candles add a nice warm glow...
Raid your cabinets or head out to the store for different size glass containers. Fill them with tree scraps, candles, ornaments, fake snow or anything else that appeals to you.
We usually think of evergreens, rosemary or magnolias for the holidays, but what about a wreath made out of red carnations or beautiful white tulips for a more updated holiday look?
Add something unexpected to your decor. Starfish, peacock feathers or even a bright colored ribbon add that special touch...
Use a large basket to cover up ugly tree stands or place large floor pillows around the tree for Christmas morning...
Burlap is inexpensive and makes a great gift wrapping alternative...
...P.S. It's reusable!
Tabletop doesn't have to be complicated. Fruits, vegetables, herbs and pine cones can make the table...
Here are a few great items to add to your holiday decor...
I have this Sugar Mold from Napa Style and absolutely adore it. I use mine with the candles they sell, but you can also use it for flowers or even to put out snacks for your next party.
