It's Complicated
It's Complicated is the perfect dose of funny for those looking for a good laugh. Writer and Director, Nancy Meyers not only has a knack for creating great movies, but she also has a reputation for her movie sets. Meyers says, "What the characters wear and how they live and decorate really says something about them", Traditional Home: Holiday 2009. In order to interpret her vision, Meyers brings in production designer, Jon Hutman and set decorator, Beth Rubino, whom is also know for the interiors of the house in Somethings Gotta Give.
Meryl Streeps character in It's Complicated lives in a sophisticated California casual Santa Barbara home with a setting to die for. The home is made up of mostly creams and beiges, but notice the consistent pop of orange throughout.
Love the use of the chairs. It's casual but everything flows...
